Hello, beautiful people. Here are a couple of images shot with designer and photographer Jimi Lee for the clothing company, Motor City Legends.
It took Jimi and I a few minutes to warm up to one another, but next thing you know I’m dancing in front of the camera. It was pretty darn fun! After the shoot he treated me to lunch at his resteraunt, Jack & Jill’s Too, in Beverly Hills. The food is so AMAZING! I had the full Pecan Citrus salad with no blue cheese, YuM!
I just found out a friend of mine is dying. When he first told me it was so casual like “I just got a new haircut.” I fell into shock and didn’t know how to react. I mean, how do you react to that??!
A few days later we spoke about a certain situation he wants me to be forgiving towards and we touched on the subject of his illness. This time I let what he was telling me set.
Because he knows his life can be gone at any given moment, his mind is more clear. Thing is, we’re all dying. Every day we’re getting older. Every day is not guaranteed.
That second day we spoke, I cried that night for him. I was overwhelmed with sadness. Overwhelmed with the feeling that this amazing person doesn’t have much time. He’s the kind of person you never forget. His energy is amazing! I pray God will keep his angel here for us to enjoy his company and create great memories with.
We can’t take life and the people around us for granted. You don’t know where a person has been and what they are going through. I will try my hardest every day to be a better and kinder person. Life is just too short.
God Bless You All!!
