Will I Win This Battle?

Seems like my life is at a standstill. I’ve tried to focus on looking to the future. Dreaming of places to go, heights to reach, what it’ll look like down the road. As beautiful as it is to dream, I’ve wasted precious time. Although it may feel like nothing is going on, there is so much happening. I just needed to open my eyes.
My flesh fails me. My eyes are open, but they start to feel heavy. They begin to tire. My weak flesh wants to rest in sin, with my eyes closed. A spiritual battle. The enemy lurking. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce, to crush me. Oh, but I won’t lose. No sir! I am a child of God. I am freed through Jesus Christ. He is my strength. Though people judge my lifestyle, whisper in the background, your noise is just noise! My Father leads me to the rock that is higher. He provides the strength I need. Walking with my Lord is a road less traveled. I am an outcast on fire for my Savior.

I am NOT in a standstill. My flesh deceives me! My Father is working. He is using me to plant seeds, to water them. I have surrendered my life to you, Jesus. I am humbled to be your servant. Humbled to be loved by you, to be forgiven by You. Continue to protect me from the enemy.
My weapons are prayer and the word. I shall continuously dwell in the two. We need protection. We need to be aware. With eyes and ears open. Submitting to our God. Getting out of our comfort zone, being uncomfortable! Listening to His Spirit that fills you. He lives inside of you!
It is when you don’t know what to do or where to go that you can put your trust in Him. This is when you need faith. You need to wholeheartedly trust in Jesus. Trust that He has a greater plan. Trust that He will not let you fall. Even when things are going wrong He is working. Even when you think you’ve lost it all, He has more to give. Glory to Jesus! I bow down before you. I am on my knees. Continue to use me, Father.
The greatest thing you can do in your life is have a relationship with Jesus. I pray for you, for all of your souls. No matter how broken you are, He loves you. No matter how many times you turned your back on Him, He is waiting with arms wide open. Believe and trust in that. You will be blessed for eternity when you look to Jesus.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
